Inflatable props in a Bird trap
Experimentation and improvisation go hand in hand. In theatrical productions, inflatables allow for the realization of the boldest ideas, complex shapes, and unconventional designs.
In 2019, the play Bird Trap
won the first prize at the New Plays competition Remarque
. The plot of the play unfolds through a series of phantasmagorical events, fateful changes, and life traps encountered by the main character. The intertwining storylines captivate the audience, prompting them to seek the truth and ponder important questions about life.
For the play Bird Trap
, staged at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Drama Theater, we created several creative inflatable props: a 3-meter tall inflatable doll and several inflatable balls with diameters ranging from 0,7 to 1,1 meters. These air sculptures increase the intensity of the play and create the necessary mood on stage.
