Decorations for the anniversary: 100 years of the Satire Theater

On December 1, 2024, the Moscow Academic Satire Theater celebrated its centenary with a high-profile production of The Century of Satire or Theatrical Madness in the Heart of Moscow directed by Viktor Kramer.

The performance brought together several generations of artists who shared their innermost thoughts with the audience and revealed the secrets of the legendary theater's life. The narration was conducted on behalf of the theater spirits – guides to the mysterious backstage world.

A unique feature of the production is the special effects and inflatable decorations, which the Aerodinamika team helped to implement. We made a huge aerostat in the shape of the cyrillic letter И and sealed inflatable hands, which were used in the action. For example, the most beloved artists who connected their lives with the Satire Theater unexpectedly appeared on the aerostat's surface – Spartak Mishulin, Anatoly Papanov, Andrey Mironov and many others.

Inflatable figures are not just decorations. Video and images can be projected onto their surface, creating the atmosphere of a fairy tale movie.
