Inflatable art: Liquid Tree by Sasha Frolova

The inflatable tree of a unique shape seems to have rested on the roof framing the entrance to the AZ/ART Contemporary Art Center. According to the author, the sculpture personifies the fluidity of time and the moment when the old year gives way to the new.

Liquid Tree is a unique interpretation of the image of a New Year tree. Its mirror elements reflect and refract street lighting, creating the effect of shimmering snow and splashes of sparkling wine. The artist’s main message is to be open to the transformations and changes that the New Year brings into the lives of each of us.
