Inflatable scenery for the Tomsk Drama Theater

On December 21, 2024, a loud premiere took place at the Tomsk Drama Theater: the western musical The Wizard of the Emerald City started. Many people know and love the tale of the extraordinary adventures of the girl Ellie, who makes friends and becomes wiser on her way to the Emerald City. But Tomsk residents treat it with special trepidation, because Alexander Volkov, the author of the work, lived and studied in Tomsk for many years.

The production turned out to be unique – its heroes were modern schoolchildren who meet fairy-tale creatures and get into a variety of adventures. And the highlight of the musical was the inflatable scenery, which became real characters.

At the moment when Ellie, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the lion first meet the wizard Goodwin, they see different figures. Aerodinamika made realistic aero figures - an eye, a nose and a hand, which appear on stage as if from nowhere. It turned out impressive – the audience remembered the bright moment, which captivated them with its originality.
